Our Story
Why we started Jamba
Jamba began with a simple frustration: tea and coffee that traveled through so many hands before reaching a cup that nobody could tell you where it actually came from. We wanted to grow it, process it and send it ourselves.
Our family has farmed the highlands above 1,900 metres for three generations. For most of that time, our tea leaf and coffee cherry were sold at auction, blended with lots from dozens of other farms, and shipped out under someone else’s name.
In 2021 we set aside a section of the estate to do things differently: pick, process, roast and pack everything ourselves, and sell it under one name — Jamba. No blending, no anonymous lots, no middlemen. Just one estate’s tea and coffee, sent directly to the people who drink it.
Today Jamba is still small by design. Every harvest is limited, every batch is roasted or withered in-house, and every bag can be traced back to the exact rows it came from. We think that’s what “estate grown” should actually mean.
What we hold onto
One Estate
Every leaf and cherry is grown on our own land — nothing bought in, nothing blended.
Full Traceability
Every bag can be traced to the harvest week and the block of the estate it came from.
Fair to the Land
We farm to keep the estate producing for another three generations, not just this one.
